Becoming an
active member on our campus is one way to meet new people and make our time
here a lot better. One social event that I attended was the Greek Life
showcase. At this event, I had the opportunity to meet the members of each
sorority, see the fraternities, and become friends with people that are
interested in the same thing that I am. At 7pm we all met in the ballroom of
the student center, this is when we had time to look around and talk to
everyone. We then watched little episodes about each organization. When all
that was finished, we broke into groups and visited the sororities. This gave
us time to meet the girls, play games, and introduce us to the organizations we
might want to join.
This
activity held by Greek Life and the Student Council was a fun way to meet so
many people. I am very happy I had the chance to go and become friends with
people that I otherwise wouldn’t have. Bellow I have a picture of events of
only three of the sororities. If you are interested in Greek Life they are having
“Chill out with the Greeks” on the residential quad at 7pm for food and games. It
will be a great way to socialize and maybe find something that you can fall in love with.
